Wa Suntaa Sporting Club and head coach Abubakari Mumuni Sokpari have mutually agreed to part ways, the Access Bank National Division league club announced.
Coach Sokpari took charge of the Wa based football club on 20th September, 2023.
“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new gaffer, Abubakari Mumuni Sokpari.
His strategic vision and dedication to excellence align perfectly with our team’s values and ambitions,” the team stated.
The Believers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Techiman Heroes in the Access Bank National Division League Fixture 4 at the Wa Malik Jabir Park.
The club has only managed 1 win in 4 league matches.
“Wa Suntaa SC and Head Coach Abubakari Mumuni Sokpari have today 1st November, 2023 mutually parted ways with immediate effect”, Wa Suntaa SC Board Chairman, Mumuni Mubarick, said in a statement.
“The club thanks the gaffer for his services and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”
Assistant Coach Nurideen Abdulai takes charge of all first team duties with immediate effect.
