Wa MCE Announces New Measures to Improve Sanitation
Wa Municipal Chief Executive for Wa, Hon. Alhaji Issah Nurah Danwana has announced measures to address sanitation challenges and improve public hygiene across the municipality.
Speaking on a Wa based Home Radio , Alhaji Danwana said volunteers would be selected to monitor compliance with sanitation rules. He urged residents to cooperate, saying sustained public participation was essential to keeping the municipality clean, healthy and sustainable.
He also announced plans to provide waste containers to communities that currently lack them. The initiative forms part of a broader effort to prevent rubbish from accumulating and reduce health risks associated with poor sanitation.
