Nadowli United delivered a strong performance on Sunday as they secured a 3-1 victory over Sore Nante SC in a thrilling Match Week 4 encounter in the Upper West Regional Division III league.

The match took place at the Nadowli United home grounds, with a sizeable number of fans in attendance to cheer on their respective teams.

The match was evenly contested in the early stages, with both sides creating several chances.

However, Salifu Elvis, Angnamwene Barnabas and Shariffdeen Dong fired the three goals for Nadowli United. Sore Nante SC tried to respond quickly, but their efforts were repeatedly thwarted by some solid defending from Nadowli United.

Sore Nante SC fought back and managed to pull a consolation goal back, thanks to a powerful play from Ampaabeng Joshua.

Despite Sore Nante SC's best efforts to stage a comeback, they were unable to break down Nadowli United's stubborn defence in the remaining minutes, as the game finished 3-1 in favour of Nadowli United.

The win sees Nadowli United move closer to the top of the league table, while Sore Nante SC will have to regroup quickly if they hope to stay in contention for promotion.
