UWR Division III: Icons beat Kalibi 3 - 0 in an exciting affair

The Upper West Regional Division Three Match Week Four clash between Icons and Kalibi was an intense and exciting affair that led to a resounding victory for Icons.

The match took place at the Icons' home ground on Sunday, with a sizeable number of fans in attendance to cheer on their respective teams.

From the opening whistle, Icons exhibited a fluid attacking style that caused the Kalibi defence all sorts of problems.

Icons took the lead courtesy of a well-taken goal from their star striker, Iddrisu Mashood, and an add-up by Siddick Fuseini.

Siddick Fuseini's two goals sparked wild celebrations among the Icons fans. Icons continued to pile on the pressure, and it wasn't long before they made it three-nil.

Despite the early setback, Kalibi tried to mount a comeback by pushing forward and creating chances.

However, Icons' defence stood firm, and they were able to deny Kalibi any clear-cut opportunities throughout the first half.

With Icons firmly in control of the match, they were able to see out the rest of the game to secure a well-deserved victory.

The final whistle sparked wild celebrations among the home fans, who had witnessed a dominant performance from their team.
