Mr Mathias Gangana, the Planning Committee Chairman of the Seontaa Boor, says Seontaa Boor is a channel to unite and educate people on new social technological developments.
According to him, culture encompasses the people's Traditions, arts and customs, language and the values they cherish which promotes their uniqueness among others.
Mr Gangana speaking during the Seontaa Boor Celebration at Vieri, said culture identifies the people’s origin and their tradition. The celebration was on the theme, “Our Root and Our Future”.
He indicated that there is the need to strengthen and gain much development by maintaining a strong sense of our cultural heritage that is fast fading away in the Daga-Wiille society.
Naa Joseph Adams Sumbamana, the Divisional Chief of the Lassia Traditional Area speaking on behalf of the Wechiau Naa, called on the people of the Wa West to co-exist for peace and unity to prevail.
