Residents of Goripie Express Concerns Over Prolong Water Shortages

Residents of Goripie in the Wa East District have expressed concerns over persistent water shortages in parts of the community.

Speaking in an interview with Info Radio at the community, Madam Kenda Mubarik said the shortage in water has been a challenge to them for a long time .

She explained that the breakages in water supply in the community makes them to spend long hours in queues before they could fetch water to perform their domestic chores.

In a related development, another resident, Mr Iddrisu Issah popularly known as Pastor, also bemoaned the rate at which their dam is being engulf by filth .

According to him, the community use the dam for other domestic purposes but was quick to add that, the encroachment of fifth into the dam is a threat to their life and well being.
