Over 1,000 people benefited from MP and Health Democrat free health screening at Fian


A non-governmental organization named Health Democrat, consisting of a group of young doctors, collaborated with Dr Sebastien Sandaare, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Daffiama-Bussei-Issa Constituency, to conduct a free health screening for communities in the Fian Electoral Area.


Over 1,000 people in three communities, namely Fian, Chabah, and Pulbaa was successfully. Mr James Wor, the Constituency Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), spoke on behalf of the Member of Parliament and highlighted the party's commitment to promote good health among the constituents.


Mr Wor also emphasized that the MP has been dedicated to healthcare initiatives for a long time, even before he became a parliamentarian.


The free health screening aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local communities and allowed beneficiaries to undergo various health check-ups for early detection and prevention of potential health issues.


Community members actively participated in the event, reflecting their shared commitment to improving public health.


Mr James Wor expressed gratitude on behalf of the MP and acknowledged the continuous efforts made to prioritize the well-being of constituents. He emphasized that the MP's dedication to healthcare initiatives is rooted in a genuine concern for the community's welfare.


The event ended with a positive impact on the local population, fostering a sense of community well-being and reinforcing the importance of proactive healthcare measures.
