Nana Ahmed Sadat, the Upper West Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper West Region, has expressed concerns over inadequate resources hindering the party’s communication efforts.
Speaking on Info Radio’s Tizien Yiri Yela, the newly re-elected director said his decision to run again was driven by his experience and past contributions to strengthening the party’s communications. However, he highlighted that during his previous term, communicators lacked essential tools such as phones and airtime, limiting their capacity to engage in radio programs and effectively publicize party activities.
He also revealed that several key party wings—including the Women’s Wing, Nasara Wing, Youth Wing, Organizing Wing, and Communication Wing—continue to face resource challenges, despite the NPP currently being in government. Nana Sadat further asserted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) appears to have better access to resources to support its operations.
His remarks underscore the critical need for enhanced support to empower the NPP’s communication teams and strengthen party outreach across the Upper West Region.
