MP for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa visits victims of rainstorm disaster



The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Dr Sebastian Ngmenenso Sandaare, made a sympathetic visit to Bussie following a devastating rainstorm that wreaked havoc on the community.

 

The MP's visit aimed to assess the extent of the destruction and offer solace to the affected residents. Upon arrival, he witnessed the aftermath of the storm, which caused damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods.

 

Expressing solidarity with the residents, the MP assured them of his unwavering commitment to providing support during this challenging time. He extended his deepest sympathies and pledged immediate assistance to alleviate their suffering.

 

He announced plans to provide relief items to those affected, including essential supplies and resources to help rebuild their lives.

Speaking to the media, the MP emphasized the importance of unity and community resilience in the face of adversity. He underscored the need for collaborative efforts to address the challenges posed by natural disasters, highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring the welfare and safety of all citizens.

 

As the cleanup and recovery efforts begin in Bussei, the visit of Honorable Sandaare, serves as an inspiration of hope to the victims. He called on the National Disaster Management Organization to speed up in supporting the victims.

Mr Evans Gandiibu, the assembly member for the Bussei East Electoral lamented the situation and commended the Member of Parliament for showing concern.

 

The residents of Bussei expressed gratitude for the MP's visit and his pledge of support, stating that it brought hope and reassurance in their time of need.

 

They commended his swift response and called for continued assistance to help them recover and rebuild their community.
