As part of his birthday celebration, Justin Kodua Frimpong (Esq), the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), donated drinks, biscuits, cooking oil, liquid soap, and toiletries to orphans at the Home of Light Islamic School in Mangu-Ahiyor, located in the Wa Municipality.

Some Regional and Constituency executives of NPP in the Upper West Region made the donation on behalf of the party's General Secretary.

The delegation consisted of Nancy Dery, the Regional Women Organizer, Yussif Alhassan, the Assistant Regional Secretary, Adams Mahamood, Assistant Secretary for Wa Central, and Ibrahim Abdul-Wahab, the Youth Organizer for Wa West Constituency.

The delegation presented the school with 10 assorted drink packs, 3 boxes of biscuits, 1 25-liter gallon of cooking oil, 4 gallons of liquid soap, and a pack of toiletries.

During an interview with Info Radio, Mr Yussif Alhassan, the NPP's Assistant Upper West Regional Secretary, mentioned that Mr Kodua has a tradition of donating to the less privileged every year on his birthday.

This year, the General Secretary decided to extend this kind gesture to all parts of the country, and as a result, the Home of Light Islamic School was chosen in the Upper West Region.

Mr Alhassan also took the opportunity to urge the general public to extend supportive hands to the school.

After the donation, Mr. Umar Salifu, who oversees Arabic Studies at the Home of Light Islamic School, spoke on behalf of the school and expressed gratitude to Mr. Justin Kodua Frimpong for his donation. He further added that the contribution would greatly benefit the children and help them continue their education at the school.
