Info Radio Adjudged as Upper West's Most Listened-to Radio Station

Info Radio, the leading station in the Upper West Region, has emerged as the most favourite and most-listened-to radio station in a recent radio audience survey conducted by Kameleon Communications Ghana Limited.

The survey, which covered all the radio stations operating in the region, revealed that Info Radio has a significant lead over its competitors in terms of listenership. The station boasts an impressive 34.8% share of the radio audience in the region, making it the clear favourite among listeners.

According to the survey, Info Radio's popularity is attributed to its diverse community programming, which caters to the needs and interests of its audience. The station's news and current affairs programs are particularly popular, with listeners citing their accuracy, timeliness, and depth of coverage as key factors in their preference for Info Radio.

Speaking on the survey results to the staff of the station at the station’s 2023 end-of-year staff get-together, the Managing Director of Info Radio, Gabriel Mwini, expressed his gratitude to the station's loyal listeners and promised to continue delivering high-quality programming that meets their needs.

"We are delighted to learn that our listeners have once again shown us their trust and confidence by making Info Radio their preferred choice for radio," he said. "We will continue to work hard to maintain this position and ensure that our programming remains relevant, informative, and entertaining."

The survey also revealed that Info Radio's popularity extends beyond the Upper West Region, with many listeners tuning in from neighbouring regions such as Savanna, Upper East, Northern Region, Brong Ahafo and with a massive global audience who listen to the station's content online. This highlights the station's growing reputation as a leading source of news and entertainment in Ghana.

In response to this development, Gabriel Mwini pledged to expand Info Radio's reach by increasing its transmission power and exploring new platforms for broadcasting. "We are committed to making Info Radio accessible to as many people as possible," he said. "We will continue to invest in our infrastructure and technology to ensure that our listeners can enjoy our programming wherever they are.

As Ghana's leading radio station in the Upper West Region, Info Radio has set a high standard for excellence in broadcasting that other stations can learn from. Its success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its staff, who have worked tirelessly to deliver high-quality programming that meets the needs of its audience.

With its continued growth and expansion, Info Radio is poised to remain a leading force in Ghana's media landscape for years to come.
