Imoro Ibrahim to undergo medicals at Sudanese giants Al Hilal

Asante Kotoko left back, Imoro Ibrahim is set to undergo medicals at Al Hilal. He had a good season in the 2021/2022 Ghana premier league. His consistency in the left-back role has caught the eye of Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman.

He is therefore set to undergo his medicals with Al Hilal in the Sudanese top flight league ahead of his transfer to the club, according to reports.

Al Hilal has agreed to pay $400,000 for the services of the 22-year-old left-back. The Porcupines will receive $150,000 and the balance will be paid later. He left the shores of Ghana on August 2, 2022 to undergo a mandatory medical in Sudan.

Imoro will pen 2-year deal worth $10,000 a month salary if he passes his medical.

Last season, he became the Ghana Premier League’s player with most assists (8), scoring twice – all from free-kicks to help Kotoko win the league title.

Ibrahim Imoro is currently part of the Ghana Black Galaxies team as they are on the verge of qualifying to the African Nation Championship to be hosted at Algeria should they beat Nigeria in their final round match.

He's the third kotoko player to depart from the club at the end of the 22/23 GPL season after Razak Abalora and Mudasiru Salifu.
