I helped improved power supply within DBI- Imoro Sanda

Mr Imoro Sanda, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Daffiama-Bussei-Issa (DBI), says he has improved power supply in the district by extending electricity to several communities.

In an interview with Info Radio, he mentioned that prior to his tenure in office, some communities were not connected to the national grid.

He specifically cited the new Pulibaa CHPS compound project, which was awarded by a common fund, as one of the communities that now have access to electricity.

Mr Sanda also disclosed that the Assembly is making plans to extend electricity to several communities.

According to the DCE, poles and wiring have been erected in Banoeyiri awaiting the installation of a transformer.

He mentioned that Daffiama-Dakyie and Toyenpare communities are also awaiting transformers.

Furthermore, Mr Sanda stated that some parts of Daffiama town without electricity will also be connected to the national grid by June next year.
