Ghanaian Hajj 2025 pilgrims urged to report unprocessed visa payments by Monday, May 5

Ghanaian Muslims planning to undertake the sacred pilgrimage to Mecca this year are urged to verify the status of their Hajj visa processing. This is particularly important for those who have already made direct payments into the official Hajj bank account.

The Ghana Hajj Board has expressed concerns about several pilgrims who have reportedly paid their 2025 Hajj fare but have not yet been contacted regarding the next stage—visa processing.

Pilgrims in this situation are strongly advised to send a WhatsApp message immediately to 0240434742 for prompt assistance. The deadline to report any issues is close of business on Monday, May 5, 2025.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to streamline the final stages of Ghana’s Hajj 2025 preparations. It follows the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's announcement of deadlines for all participating countries to finalize visa processes well ahead of the pilgrimage dates.

The first batch of Ghanaian pilgrims is scheduled to depart for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 10, 2025.
