Faith, Love, and Light: Rev. Fr Cyracus Tang inspires Christians during Easter celebration at Lassia Tuolu

Reverend Father Cyracus Tang, Parish Priest of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in Lassia Tuolu, delivered a moving message during this year’s Easter celebrations, urging Christians to become beacons of light, love, and faith in their communities.

“Faith and love are the seeds in our lives,” Fr. Tang proclaimed, emphasizing that these virtues must not only be celebrated but actively lived out.

Drawing inspiration from the resurrection of Christ, he reminded the congregation that God's love is unconditional and inclusive.

“We are all God’s children. He loves us equally. It is this love that brought Christ to die and rise again for our salvation.”

Fr. Tang challenged the faithful to reflect deeply on the essence of Christianity, a message rooted in acceptance, compassion, and service to others.

He called on believers to carry the light of Christ beyond the church walls and into society, especially by reaching out to those in need and building stronger, faith-driven communities.

“Let the light of Christ shine through you,” he urged, stressing that being part of the Church means more than worship; it means action. “Support, uplift, and love one another. That is the true expression of our faith.”

The Parish Priest’s message resonated strongly with attendees, igniting a renewed sense of purpose among the members.

He further encouraged the Lassia Tuolu community to educate themselves and others about the teachings of the Church and to be agents of positive change.

As the Easter celebration concluded, the atmosphere was charged with a spirit of hope, unity, and spiritual renewal a fitting tribute to the enduring message of Christ's resurrection and a reminder that in faith and love, the Church finds its true strength.
