DBI MP donates to Wogu R/C primary

Dr. Sabastian Sandaare, Member of Parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa constituency has donated a pack of roofing sheet, wood and nails to Wogu R/C Primary School for the re-roofing of the school which was ripped off by windstorm.

The School’s library and staff room, the Wogu police station including private properties were destroyed by a windstorm disaster on April 2024.

Mr. Boniface Tianaa, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) DBI Constituency Chairman presented the materials on behalf of the MP, Dr. Sabastian Sandaare.

He assured the community that the re-roofing of the school will be done in the shortest possible time.

"We have assured the teachers that their work will be completed. The Member of Parliament has commissioned carpenters to begin the work and has requested that they complete it quickly. He will be pleased if the work is finished within two days," he explained.

He admonished the people to put in preventive measures to minimize such disasters, particularly the rainy season.

The headmistress of Wogu R/C primary school, Madam Bongsodong Franklina expressed gratitude to the MP for his intervention to restore the school.
