The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Daffiama-Bussei-Issa (DBI), Mr Nadi Imoro Sanda, has shared the achievements of the Assembly in providing clean water to the people of the district during his tenure.
According to him, under his leadership, there has been a remarkable improvement in the access to potable water for the people of the district.
He mentioned that there was inadequate water supply in the district, but since he became the DCE, his administration has provided over 25 boreholes for the district with the help of a World Bank project.
Mr Sanda says they have extended the Daffiama small town water system to most of the houses in Daffiama.
He disclosed that they have plans to extend water supply to more communities in the district, and these plans are already at an advanced stage.
He made this known during an interview with Info Radio’s Zienyaaye Upper West, a flagship program of the station on Friday.
