The Chief of Bultuo, Naa Abubarkar Alhassan l, has lamented about the lack of electricity, poor telecommunication network, inadequate health equipment and the lack of primary and JHS in his community.
According to the Chief, the situation has been giving him sleepless nights. Speaking during the celebration of Tiyiriyela Timaaleyiri Tigre at the community.
Naa Abubarkar l, said the developments of the community are on the necks of chiefs.
He indicated that these four major challenges need to be addressed as soon as possible to improve the livelihood and wellbeing of the people in the community.
He said, "As the chief of this community, I don’t receive any salary. But when people bring their problems to you, you cannot ignore them. I can’t sleep because of the many developmental challenges that confront us as a community."
"A big community like Bultuo without a school is a major concern for us. Anyone with a phone here should check; you cannot make a call. We don’t have electricity either," he added.
Naa Abubakari appealed to the District Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament to come to the aid of the community’s CHPS compound with furniture.
