Bechem United crowns forward Hafiz Konkoni best striker of the season

Bechem United have crowned forward Hafiz Wontah Konkoni as the best striker for the 2020/2021 season at the club.

In an event organized by the club to award top performers, the towering forward was picked as the striker for the club.

Hafiz Wontah Konkoni made 23 appearances last season in the premier league for Bechem United FC, scoring 8 goals and 5 assists in the process before he suffered injury which ended his season prematurely.

He was handed a cheque of five hundred dollars (500 USD) to be used to support his education should he continue to further his education.

In addition, the chief of Bechem also awarded him with a piece of land for his dedication and service to the club over the years.

The attacker has recovered in time for the upcoming football season and will soon resume training with the group.

Hafiz Konkoni

The prolific striker hailed from the Upper West Region of Ghana. He has played for Merit Alsancak Yesilova SK in Cyprus where ended his loan transfer in the 2018/2019 football season before he re-joined the Bechem side on November 14, 2019.
