The Member of Parliament for Wa East, Godfred Seidu Jasaw, has underscored the vital role of accessible healthcare in fostering sustainable community development. His remarks follow the recent deployment of new health facilities in the communities of Bulee and Chasee within the Wa East District. Speaking to Info Radio, Jasaw emphasized that comprehensive healthcare services—ranging from primary care, routine check-ups, maternal health, to chronic disease management and mental health support—are crucial for enhancing the well-being of residents.
In addition to healthcare improvements, the MP announced that the new facilities will be complemented with mechanized boreholes, ensuring communities have reliable access to clean water. This integrated approach aims to elevate the quality of life for residents and promote overall development.
District Chief Executive Adamu Sayibu revealed that efforts are also underway to connect the communities to the national electricity grid. In the short term, solar power systems will be installed to enable health workers to operate medical equipment effectively, further strengthening healthcare delivery.
