The Member of Parliament for Wa East Constituency, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw in his effort to improve security in the constituency has embarked on a lighting project. The project is dubbed "Dr Jasaw Nightlife Streetlight Project".
The project seeks to brighten the Communities in Wa East during the night to actualize the MP's dream of improving the nightlife and safety of his people.
The project phase one is targeted at brightening the major communities of the Constituency at night.
The project was launched at Goripie where over Thirty streetlights were donated to fixed at vantage positions in the community.
The project started at Funsi, the District Capital where he donated over forty streetlights to be fixed at vantage areas in the community. It was a relief to the residents who hitherto, were always scared to move at night.
The MP absorbs the cost of fixing all the streetlights across the communities.
Dr Jasaw before handing over these Streetlights to the beneficiary communities appealed to them to develop a good maintenance culture and assured the communities of his relentless efforts to bring the needed development to their doorsteps.
