Tabiasi Naa calls for desks and completion of school building

The chief of Tabiasi in the Daffiama-Bausie-Issa (DBI) District, Naa Maaliba Dipuoh has appealed for desks for the school in the community to facilitate learning activities in the school.
The chief made the call in an interview with Info Radio at the community where he lamented over inadequate furniture in the school.
He added that the road leading to the school is also deplorable and need a facelift.
Naa Maaliba Dipuoh also bemoaned that the school’s buildings are also dilapidated and threatens the lives of teachers and pupils especially this season of rains.
He said the school was built by the community with the support of a philanthropist but the building has become deplorable.
He called called for the completion of a school block whose construction was started some time ago but seemed to come to a standstill.
Mr Saani Boye, a resident, noted that the Tabiasi Islamic school in particular does not have classroom blocks compelling them to use the Community Centre as classrooms.
