Residents of Jinpensi cry for good road network

The residents of Jinpensi, situated in the Chala Electoral Area of the Daffiama-Bussei-Issa (DBI) district, are deeply concerned about the poor conditions of the roads in their area.

They report that the road that connects Bayiri and Kojokpere is in a deplorable state, making it difficult for them to access market centres in other communities.

Speaking to Info Radio in the community, Mr Mahamadu Fuseini, a resident, lamented about the deplorable nature of the road, stating that it is unmotorable, especially during the rainy seasons.

Mr Mahamadu, who is the 2023 DBI District's Best Farmer, added that their inability to access the market at Wa or any of the surrounding communities during the rainy season is due to the bad nature of the road.

Furthermore, he indicated that politicians had promised to construct the roads but failed to do so.

Mrs Nafisa Fuseini, another resident, reported that there have been many accident cases on the road due to its deplorable state.  She therefore called on the authorities to come to their aid.

Mr Abubakari Wanye, also a resident, indicated that part of the road from Jenpensi to Kojokpere has been washed away by flood water during the rainy season.
