Residents of Dapuoh-Gbankonyiri call for extension of LEAP to community

Residents of Dapuoh-Gbankonyiri in the Nadowli-Kaleo District have appealed to the government and Nadowli-Kaleo District Social Welfare Department to come to the needy and aged people in the Gbankonyiri community.
Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Daawulo Bongkabo appealed to the government to include them in the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) program to help sustain their lifespan in the community.
He said there are a lot of people in the community who are qualified to receive the support but not benefiting.
Mr. Osuman Bavilee, a resident in the community further decried the lack of the LEAP program in the community, hence affecting the needy and aged people residing in Dapuoh-Gbankonoyiri.
Madam Winifred Bietori also a resident in the community said, the LEAP Program will help the needy and aged people in the community when included to support them carter for their children in school.
