New micro financial institution, Reality Micro Credit, has been opened in Wa to offer credit facilities to individuals and cooperate groups to boost businesses and economic lives of people.
The credit institution located off the Kambali road on top of Consolidated Bank Ghana was commissioned on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
Speaking in an interview with the Chief Executive of the institution, James Sohimwininye, he said the Reality Micro Credit exists to offer soft and flexible loan facilities to persons and groups, both in the formal and informal sectors of the economy.
Mr Sohimwininye said the core business if the institution is to create value for money and properties.
He added that the institution however do not offer the loan cash in hand to the borrower but rather see to the payment of what he or she intends to use the money to.
He said the paradigm shift in the administration of loans is to ensure that indeed the borrower gets to accomplish his or her dreams.
He asserted that the protocol will maximize the benefiting chances of borrowers and prevents defaulting by borrowers.
“One would ask why we don’t just give the money to the borrowers, it is because of the value we said we are creating,” Mr Sohimwininye explained.
