Pupils of Siiru D/A Kindergarten and Primary schools in the Wa West District study under trees due to inadequate classrooms.
The school has Kindergarten and primary up to class five with only two classrooms. According to residents from the community, teachers at the school take the pupils through the day’s lessons, at the mercy of the weather.
Speaking to Info Radio in the community, Madam Cecilia Ngmenibong, mentioned the lack of feeding at the school as a challenge. She appealed to the government to include the school in the Ghana School Feeding Program.
Mr Hamidu Idrissu, a parent, noted that it will gladden their heart if they could get additional infrastructure for their school.
