The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is scheduled to embark on a Thank You Tour in the Upper West Region on Thursday, May 15th, 2025.

The announcement was made through a statement issued by the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Nura Danwaana, and subsequently copied to Info Radio. The statement invites residents and supporters to participate in the upcoming visit, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

According to the official communication, President Mahama will arrive at the Wa Airport, where he is expected to be received at 10:00 am. Following the airport reception, a public engagement will be held at Jubilee Park starting at 12 noon. The event aims to foster direct interaction between the President and the constituents, allowing residents to voice their support and share their concerns.

Alhaji Nura Danwaana encouraged all residents of the Upper West Region, especially supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to attend and participate in this momentous occasion. “This tour is a gesture of appreciation to the good people of the Upper West Region for their unwavering support,” he stated.
