NPP Primaries: Vida Diorotey Defeated at Wa West

Madam Vida Diorotey, the District Chief Executive for Wa West, has lost her bid to be the parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wa West Constituency for the 2024 general election.

She lost to Mr Saatri James Kpir-faaty, a teacher at Nandom Ko Senior High School.

Out of the total valid votes of 717, Madam Vida Diorotey had 232, Mr Bukari Ali had 143, Mr James Bombi Tembiir had 20 votes, and Mr Saatri James Kpir-faatey emerged as the winner with 319 votes.

In an interview with Info Radio in Wechiau, Mr Saatri James expressed his gratitude to the delegates for electing him as the Parliamentary Candidate for the 2024 general election.

He called on the other aspirants and party supporters to unite and campaign for the party to win the 2024 general election.
