The Wa Central Constituency Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) commends the party's youth for their political maturity and decorum during the recent parliamentary primaries.
The NPP Wa Central Constituency Youth Organizer, Abdul Fatawu Daud in a statement said “In a time where political discourse can sometimes be contentious, the conduct of our youth stands out as a shining beacon of unity and collective purpose. Their commitment to issue-based campaigns and a focus on the betterment of our dear party in the constituency is commendable.”
The statement continued that “the great elephant fraternity within the constituency has exhibited a high level of political decorum, displaying a deep sense of understanding and commitment to the democratic process”.
The NPP successfully conducted its parliamentary primaries in orphan constituencies and elected parliamentary candidates to represent the party in the 2024 general elections.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the youth for their remarkable conduct before, during and after the keenly contested parliamentary primaries held last Saturday. Their commitment to peaceful campaigns sets a valuable precedent for future political endeavors and strengthens the foundation of our democracy.”
As true sons and daughter of the Wa Limanyiri, I entreat all of you to come together as one and fight the battle ahead, which is, winning the seat for the New Patriotic Party for the first time in our fourth republic,” the statement reads in part.
