The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jirapa, Peter N. To-Ang, has unveiled a comprehensive development agenda aimed at addressing the pressing infrastructural and social needs of the municipality.

In his first Radio Interview with Info Radio following his confirmation by the Jirapa Municipal Assembly, Mr. To-Ang highlighted critical areas requiring urgent intervention, including road infrastructure, access to clean potable water, and the expansion of electricity services. His vision is centered on fostering sustainable growth and improving the quality of life for all residents.

Expressing concern over the current state of development in Jirapa, Mr. To-Ang emphasized the importance of strategic planning and collaborative efforts. “Our community deserves better roads, reliable water supply, and consistent electricity. These are fundamental for progress,” he stated. “I am committed to working tirelessly to bring about tangible improvements.”

The new MCE also assured the public of a transparent and inclusive leadership style. He pledged to operate an open-door administration, encouraging participation from residents, stakeholders, and assembly members alike. “Accountability and inclusiveness will be the pillars of my leadership. We must work together to transform Jirapa into a thriving municipality,” Mr. To-Ang added.

Calling for unity among all stakeholders, Mr. To-Ang urged residents and leaders to set aside differences and collaborate toward a shared goal of development. His administration aims to prioritize community engagement and strategic partnerships to realize these ambitious goals.

As Jirapa embarks on this new chapter, all eyes will be on how effectively the new leadership can turn these promises into concrete progress for the municipality.
