NDC presents motorbikes to Communications Officers in Upper West Region

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the weekend presented eleven 11 motorbikes to the Upper West Regional Communication Bureau of the party for onward distribution to their Constituency Communication Officers in all the 11 constituencies in the Upper West Region.

Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the NDC presented the 11 motorbikes to the regional executive on behalf of the flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

He tasked the Regional Executive to register the motorbikes in the name of the party. He explained that the party would take the motorbikes from Communications Officers who resigned or stopped working for the party.

The NDC held a one-day capacity-building training for its Communicators and media monitors in the Upper West Region as part of the party’s preparations ahead of the December general elections.

Mr Gyamfi accused President Akuffo-Addo’s government of betraying the trust of Ghanaians and mismanaging the economy.

“They’ve betrayed the trust of Ghanaians and they’ve violated their social contract with the people of Ghanaians and it is the reason why Ghanaians are all suffering irrespective of one political affiliation.

“And so all Ghanaians are united in grieve calling for change in the direction of this country,” he added.

He noted that it is only John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer who has a “proven track record and the vision that can bring about the transformation and the prosperity that we’re all yearning for.”

In a related development, former broadcast journalist, Shamima Muslim donated a brand new Apsonic Motorbike to the Upper West Regional Communications Burea of the NDC.
