The Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency, Hon Bede A. Ziedong, says he has planned to construct two Kindergarten (KG) schools for his constituents.
According to him of the KG’s will be between the Zukpire and Faalu communities and the other in the Tansil community to ensure access to pre-basic education in those communities.
Speaking to Info Radio, he mentioned that the children in those communities have to travel from their community to another to attend school and that is not helping them especial the little children.
“I have plans to undertake some projects this year. Number one is that I want to construct KG block for children who are not yet up to primary school,” he mentioned.
He added that he will continue to sponsor final year students with their mock examination and also put in measures to get the education directorate in the municipality to do monitoring during the examination.
“The education directorate has a lot of challenges. Everybody knows that it is difficult to get money under this government and because of that they sit there and they have no money to work. So I want to support them this year too to do monitoring and evaluation.”
