Sombo Freedom Stars had their first win in the ongoing division two (II) league in the Upper West Region. Match day two saw the Sombo community based team display an outstanding performance which earned them the maximum three points after 90 minutes. The former Wa Suntaa SC striker found the net on the 36th minute into the game. The only goal of the match came after Isaac Benditey located Moisdeen Abdul with a key pass, he made a dribble and shot the ball into Wa FC’s net. Sombo Freedom Stars have earn four points after two matches and is set for an away game with Nakore Soccer Babies in match day three at the Nakore park.
