The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Wa West constituency, Mr James Saatiri Kpir-Faatey, has recounted his contributions to the constituency in terms of education and supporting women with funds to undertake their own businesses.

According to him, he has built 3-unit classrooms for residents of Eggu Zang, he also lobbies for tricycles for women, supports women's access loans and others.

In an interview with Info Radio, Mr Kpir-Faatey stated that if he has the opportunity to become the Member of Parliament for Wa West, he will bring more development to the constituency.

He says “I brought 18 motor tricycles for women; register 23 cooperative certificates for women free of charge and give them money to open accounts. I have renovated 3 warehouses here in the Wa West.”

He also outlined some of the developmental contributions the NPP government has offered to the constituency in the areas of roads, health, schools and electricity.

"I grew up in Wa West, where the NDC ruled for more than 20 years, but I haven't seen any significant development that they have brought to the people. Although the NPP is constructing new roads, which the MP claims is funded by the World Bank; it was the NPP government that approached the World Bank for the funds. Moreover, it is the NPP government that has initiated the opening up of many roads.

The government has also constructed schools and CHPS compounds throughout the constituency. The achievements of the NPP in Wa West far outweigh the NDC's 32-year rule," he added.
