Imoro Sanda wins DBI NPP Parliamentary election

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) District, Nadi Imoro Sanda, has emerged victorious in the Daffiama Bussie Issa constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primary.

Out of 367 total valid votes, he polled 210 votes while his opponent, Abdul Mugeeb Kele garnered 157 votes.

In a short address after the declaration, Mr Sanda thanked the delegates for reposing confidence in her again.

Mr Sanda was the Parliamentary candidate for the NPP in the constituency in the 2020 general elections.

He lost the election to the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr Sabastian Sandaare of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general elections.
