Renovated block

Highly Favoured Foundation has renovated and commissioned the Kindergarten (KG) classroom block, kitchen and teachers’ accommodation for Korinyiri community in the Nadowli-Kaleo District.

The CEO of the foundation, Madam Alberta Ablordeppey together with Mr. Mulumba Songsore, the Nadowli-Kaleo District Cultural Officer handed over the project to the community.

Mr Songsore who served as the project coordinator, received full funding from the Foundation to see to it that the school which was in a deplorable condition is given a facelift.

Works included painting the entire school, provision of whiteboards, windows, doors and thorough works on cracks, cementing among others.

The headmaster, Mr Yirinuba Dominic, on behalf of the community sincerely thanked the Foundation for giving their school a facelift as it will give them a conducive environment for studies which translates into excellent educational outcomes.

He said the school though in a deplorable condition serves two other communities and is mostly overcrowded.

The community leaders and members amidst singing and dancing praised and thanked profusely the Foundation for giving hope to their children's education.

Madam Alberta encouraged the community to take very good care of the facility, she also donated clothes to all students and children in the community.

The community further played the Oliver Twist advocate by appealing to the Foundation to support the school with some books since the school is without a library.
