Former NDC Parliamentary Candidate aspirant calls for unity to win 2024 elections

Dr Kannyiri Thadious Banyen

A former 2023 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate Aspirant for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, Dr Kannyiri Thadious Banyen has called for unity in the party across the constituency.

Dr Thadious in his New Year message urged members of the NDC to put their differences and individual interests aside and “let us work conscientiously, together for the victory we so much need and for the salvation an expectant nation expect us to deliver at the December polls.

“To my comrades in the Upper West region, especially the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, I always say, there is no Hon. A.M. Sumah’s NDC, there is no Dr. K.T. Banyen’s NDC, there is only one NDC and its victory is our collective victory.”

He again urged the party to “stay united and resilient and work together, respecting one-another as we fight hard to not only retain our member of parliament but increase his votes in the constituency and increase the votes of H.E. John Dramani Mahama to secure him victory in the 2024 presidential elections.”

Dr Thadious called on Ghanaians to vote out the NPP government in the 2024 polls and choose for “ourselves leaders and a political party that has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to good governance and the socio-economic development of Ghanaians.

“Let us vote for the NDC presidential candidate, H.E. President John Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidates of the NDC throughout the country to purge our executive and legislative arms of government and bring back sanity in governance in the country,” he added.

He called on the National, Regional, Constituency and all branch executives to be candle bearers that promote unity and good comradeship among fellow party members.

“Let us put aside all our differences that developed before, during and after our various internal elections and forge ahead as a united force,” he stated.
