Electorates rewarded my hardwork-Assembly Member

The Assembly Member for Gurungu Electoral Area, Mr Manan Zumuroh, has indicated that the people of the electoral area have recognized that he is capable of sending their concerns to the authorities for redress which is why they voted for him.

He said for the past four years, he has led the community to engage in communal labour to fix portions of their roads to make them motorable.

Others included lobbying for boreholes and securing nine boreholes for the community during his tenure of office.  Mr Zumuroh said this in an interview with Info Radio.

“As an assemblyman, I think it is my responsibility to organize my community for communal labour. We have fixed portions of our road through communal labour.”

“In 2020, I including two of my colleagues mobilized our communities to fix portions of the Gurungu-Wichiau road,” he added.

The Assembly Member also talked about the sanitation situation in the electoral area which he has helped to improve, especially at the Gurungu market centre.

He said the work of the assembly Member is not a man’s work and that he will continue to work with the communities to develop the area in the areas of health, education and water among others.
