New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate hopeful for Jirapa Constituency, Hajia Ayisha Salifu, has stated that the NPP has the chance of winning the Jirapa Constituency seat in the 2024 elections if only she is elected the parliamentary candidate.
"If anybody can take away this seat from the NDC, it is me because 90 percent of my family are the people you are talking about”.
Speaking to Info Radio in Jirapa, Hajia Ayisha, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zongo Development Fund (ZDF), mentioned that she has done so much for the community since her relocation and expressed confidence that the delegates will vote for her in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
“What I’ve done for my community since I relocated alone is enough to speak volumes.
I like a lot of education. I just don’t go stand and talk to delegates. I like to explain to them so they understand and I think I have done that a lot,” she added.
The Deputy Zongo Development Fund CEO is contesting the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri for the parliamentary candidate slot.
