Mr Freeman Kanton, the Upper West Regional Chairman of the Coalition gave the advice Info Radio’s morning show, Zie Nyaaye Upper West. He said CSM is cause by excessive heat.
Mr Knaton urged the public to look out for the symptoms of the CSM such as stiffness of neck and fever and to report to the health facility when one suspects any symptom of the disease.
The Coalition also commended the Ghana Health Service for success chalked in managing and preventing in the Upper West Region.
It said the Ghana Health Services, through its control measure including public education on the CSM had been able to control the disease. That he said, is as a result of the recorded cases in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
