The residents of Jongfian, a community in the Jongfian Electoral Area, are extremely dissatisfied with the poor condition of the road that connects their community to Bulenga.
The chief of Jongfian, Kuli N-yituo, expressed his concern about the deplorable state of the road in an interview with Info Radio.
He urged the relevant authorities to take immediate action to repair the road, which has been in a terrible condition for a long time.
The chief emphasized that the road's poor condition is causing significant difficulties for the community, particularly for the transportation of goods and people who use the road.
Mr Langzimbo Rashid, a resident of the community, reported that all the bridges on the road are broken down, making it impossible for vehicles to pass through.
He also mentioned that the road's terrible condition is affecting pregnant women who need to be transported to Bulenga for delivery.
Shaibu Sulemana, another resident, stated that travelling on the road is extremely stressful and uncomfortable.
He also appealed to the authorities to take immediate action to fix the road and make it safe for motorists and pedestrians.
