Bomandi Preparatory School Celebrates 6th Anniversary


Bomandi Preparatory School, a private basic school based in Wa, has organized the Achievers Awards, an event aimed at recognizing high-performing pupils, as the school marks its six-year Anniversary. The event was attended by high-profile personalities in the Upper West region and beyond, including the member of parliament for Wa Central, a representative of the Upper West Regional Minister, as well as parents whose wards attend Bomandi Preparatory School, among others. The event was characterized by a colorful display of the school cadets and band and poetry and musical performances by Poet Pobee and Ras Badingo. Addressing the gathering at the event, Mr. Adamu Dasana, the Proprietor of the school, said the school was built on the principle of discipline to ensure that children who pass through that school are offered the high-quality training they need to contribute to society’s development. Nana Gyamfua Kromo III, the Offuman Dampaaso Hemaa and Asona Hemaa to Techniman Traditional Area, who was the Guest Speaker at the event, called on parents to play a crucial role in instilling discipline in their children to help ensure academic excellence in their education. Mr. Razak Abdul-Korah, the Upper West Regional Director of Education at the time, encouraged parents to take the education of their girl children very seriously, as girl child education is vital for national development. On the occasion, the Wa Central constituency MP, Dr. Hassan Rashid Pelpuo, also commended the proprietor and management of the school for supporting the proper upbringing of children in the region and the country at large.
