Madam Vida Diorotey, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wa West, has urged assembly members in the district to prioritize the development of their communities and the needs of the people they represent.
The DCE emphasized that the assembly members were elected to represent the people, and therefore, they should focus on promoting unity and development during assembly sittings.
Speaking during the inauguration of the assembly members, Madam Diorotey assured them of the readiness of the district administrators to collaborate with them to work effectively and efficiently towards improving the living conditions of the people in the district.
The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih, also called on the assembly members to partner with their traditional leaders to address the grievances of their people.
