Be decorum in your campaign-NPP Chairman urged candidates

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper West Region, Mr Saanbaye Basilde Kangberee, has advised the parliamentary aspirants of the party in the region to conduct themselves with decorum during their campaigns.

He emphasized that the party's goal is to win all eleven parliamentary seats and to break the "eight ambitions."

After the vetting of the NPP parliamentary candidates, Mr Kangberee expressed satisfaction with the process, stating that it was successful.

He urged the candidates to engage in peaceful campaigning and to unite after the election to work towards securing a victory for the party.

“I expect them to go out there campaign peacefully, no insults, no intimidations because at the end of the day we expect them to come back together because we need only one,” he added.

Chairman Kangberee stated that evidence indicates the NPP's presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, is blameless and the party is poised to win a third term.

“I’m optimistic that things will work out fine and the Presidential candidate we have is just great. The pointers are clear that we are going to break the 8.”
