Assembly member identified four developmental challenges

The Assembly member for Nayiri Fifamuni Electoral Area in the Wa Municipality, Mr. Minkailu Silinba Hamidu Yakubu, has identified four significant developmental challenges facing his electoral area.

These include education, water supply, waste management, and youth employment.

Speaking to Info Radio in Wa, Mr. Silinba stated that he was moved to join the Assembly to facilitate development in the identified areas.

He acknowledged that his predecessor, Mr. Rashid Abdul-Rahaman, had made some progress in fixing some of these issues.

Mr. Silinba emphasized that development is a continuous process, and he is committed to building upon the work of his predecessor.

While he cannot single-handedly solve all the electoral area's problems, he will do his best to make a positive impact, hoping someone else will continue from where he left off when he eventually leaves office.

The Assembly member noted that waste management is a significant challenge in his area.

To mitigate this issue, he is training young girls in the region to create useful products such as laptop bags, ropes, and sandals from plastic waste.

He is also planning to contest in the upcoming district-level election.
