Assembly member aspirant seeks electorates’ mandate

Madam Hawawu Daari, who is aspiring to become an Assembly Member for the Vieri Electoral Area in the Wa West District, is urging the electorates to vote for her in the upcoming district assembly elections.
She believes that her election will enable her to make a positive contribution towards improving the socio-economic status of the people living in the area.
Madam Daari decided to contest for the position due to the many development challenges that the electoral area is facing.
She spoke to Info Radio in Wa and highlighted some of her efforts in supporting girls' education and skills acquisition. She mentioned that she has helped many girls get into schools and acquire skills training.
Madam Daari has also contributed to the development of the electoral area by supporting over 30 women to access finance for their businesses and helping 12 girls acquire skills in soap making, among other things.
She believes that what the people need is a leader who can lead them.
Madam Daari identified some of the major challenges in the Vieri electoral area as a lack of unity and a falling standard of education.
She also lamented the poor state of the road network in the area.
