Wa West GSFP Coordinator vows to ensure quality, expansion of Programme

The newly appointed District Coordinator for the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) in the Wa West District, Mr. Jacob Yota, has pledged to uphold high standards in the delivery of meals to schoolchildren across the district.

 

Speaking in an interview with Info Radio, Mr. Yota assured the public of his commitment to ensuring that pupils are served nutritious and hygienically prepared meals. He emphasized that regular monitoring and supervision will be carried out to ensure caterers adhere to proper food safety standards.

 

Mr. Yota also revealed plans to work closely with the Wa West District Chief Executive to expand the GSFP to cover more schools in the district, thereby increasing enrollment and enhancing child nutrition.

 

“I am committed to ensuring that our children receive quality food in school. With the support of the District Assembly and stakeholders, we will extend the programme to benefit more pupils,” he said.

 

He appealed to residents and community leaders in Wa West to support him in the execution of his duties, noting that community involvement is key to the success of the programme.
