Upper West Regional Minister Pledges Support for Division One Qualification Hopefuls


The Upper West Regional Minister, Lawyer Charles Lwanga Puozui, has assured the region’s unwavering support for any club that qualifies for the Division One League from the ongoing Division Two Middle League.

 

He made this pledge during the official commencement of the Upper West Regional Division Two Middle League at the Nadowli McCoy College Astro Turf.

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lawyer Puozui emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting sports development in the region, particularly football, which he described as a unifying force and a potential source of livelihood for the youth.

 

“We are ready to support any club that qualifies for the Division One League. It is our responsibility to ensure that football in the Upper West Region grows and competes at the national level,” he stated.

 

The Minister also praised the organizers of the Middle League and encouraged all participating teams to display discipline, sportsmanship, and commitment throughout the competition.

 

The ongoing Middle League has already begun drawing attention from football fans across the region, with clubs showing strong performances and determination to reach greater heights.
