Residents of Yuonuuri appeal for telecommunication network connectivity

Residents of Yuonuuri, a community in the Jagluu Electoral Area of the Wa West District, have called on the telecommunication service providers to improve the network connectivity at the community.

The residents lamented that the lack of telecommunication network at the community is posing many challenges to them in terms of mobile communication.

Speaking to Info Radio at the community, a resident, Mr. Felix said the community is having a CHPS compound but whenever a critically sick person is referred to the district capital, it becomes difficult for them to call an Ambulance to carry the sick person to the district hospital.

Mr. Paul Engwub, another resident, indicated that most of the surrounding communities are having the local area network but their community has been neglected.

He thus appealed to the network service providers to come to their aid.

Mr. Nong Saamana, another resident, lamented that politicians have been deceiving them with the network connectivity during every election year.
