Residents of Nyimbali community in the Nadowli-Kaleo District are appealing to Government and the Nadowli-Kaleo Social Welfare Department to come to the aid of the needy and aged people in the community.

They appealed to the government to extend the Livelihood Empowerment against Poverty (LEAP) Program to benefit all the aged and needy residents in Nyimbali community.

Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Ibrahim explained that only few people are benefiting from the LEAP program but majority of the needy and aged people are not benefiting from the program in the community.

He appealed for the extension of the LEAP program to include all the needy and aged people in the community.
